American Strategic Investment Co. Quick Ratio
The quick ratio is a stricter test of whether a company can pay the bills due within a year, counting only assets that are already cash or close to it. It is cash, marketable securities and receivables divided by current liabilities, shown as a multiple, with both amounts in the table. It is the current ratio with inventory and other assets that take longer to turn into cash removed, so it is never higher than the current ratio. A company that does not report one of the inputs has no point for that date rather than an estimated one. Quarterly points use quarter-end balances; annual points use fiscal-year-end balances.
