Vanguard S&P 500 ETF Dividend
An ETF passes the dividends of the stocks it holds on to its shareholders as distributions, VOO each quarter. Each row pairs a distribution per share with the closing price on its ex-dividend date, the first day a new buyer no longer receives it; the yield divides the distribution by that same-day close, never today's price. The annual view adds up the distributions in each year.
